(Windows – License) It says ‘TacticalPad is not activated’ when I had a valid license. I try to reactivate an code -15 is shown. What happened, how to solve it?
TacticalPad licensing system relies on data from your computer Hardware and Windows Operating System to create a very solid anti-piracy system. When suddenly your license gets invalidated it means that these information were modified, basically for two possible reasons:
*A major Windows update (most common),
*Another software installed maliciously changed hardware or windows information
How to solve it:
contact us on support@tacticalpad.com. We will issue a new license. Then, on your side, open the software and on the activator, re-enter your email and password.
(Windows – Update) I just can’t find the new promised features on new TacticalPad? What is Classic or New version of TacticalPad?
Ok, first of all. There is a page listing all TacticalPad versions, updates and download links. And here it is: tacticalpad.com/update
Now that you are up to date. You run TacticalPad and can’t find new features, like 3D animation and so on. So, likely, here is the explanation. You haven’t noticed that TacticalPad Windows has two different TacticalPad option, TacticalPad Classic and simply TacticalPad. Here are their icons (you will find them on your Desktop and Start Menu)
*TacticalPad (aka the New): This version of TacticalPad was released on 2016 for Windows. His first steps began on 2012 with the first mobile (tablet) version. It has being improved from there, adding features, support for different devices and inputs (touch, mouse). This version is now available for Windows, iOs, Android, Mac OSX with some slightly platform differences. This version is and will always be continuouly update with new features.
Who they are:
* TacticalPad Classic is the previous TacticalPad for Windows, released on 2010 and discontinued on Jan 2016. Why we keep it? Simple, there are users that love it more than anything and don’t want a different design or new features. They are pretty comfortable with this. So, respecting their will, we keep it. But it is not updated anymore, the new features are only available for the new version.

*Just check that you have latest version
*If you want the newest version and features, open the new version, green icon
*Long-time user and don’t want anything new, keep using the Classic version
